Столкнулся с интересным: оказывается, продавцы eBay участвующие в специальных платных программах, защищены от отрицательных отзывов и оценок покупателей. eBay такие отзывы и оценки автоматически удаляет.

И это видно по каким-то признакам кроме 0 негативных отзывов?

Upon review, I can see that  the product was shipped using eBay global shipping program. I have checked the feedback details and noticed that system automatically removed the feedback as the claim was closed and the refund issued by eBay and not the seller as the item is lost while shipping from our shipping hub.

 

This is because it fitted one of our feedback removal criteria. Please note that removal of this feedback does not constitute us finding that the identified feedback is defamatory or otherwise unlawful. However, for the protection of all our users, we keep individual account information confidential. I hope you understand that this is why I'm unable to provide more specific details about removal of this feedback. I am sorry to inform you that once feedback is removed system does not allow us to restore it.

Ну они пишут, что виноват не продавец, а их служба доставки.

Да, потеряла их служба доставки, но претензия была именно к продавцу, потому что он не отвечал на мой вопрос "что с посылкой?" — я ведь покупал именно у него, а какая-там служба доставки — я не в курсе.

Может быть они не вдаются в эти тонкости, и считают, что продавец ничего не мог знать о доставке, значит ничего страшного, что не ответил.

Да, вполне возможно, что так оно и есть.

Но ведь когда я покупаю, я смотрю на рейтинг. У данного продавца был самый высокий рейтинг, хотя и чуть более дорогой товар. Я купил у него, но в данном случае получается, что я переплатил не за то, что у продавца самая надежная (хотя и возможно более дорогая ) доставка — эти деньги (из более высокой цены) продавец отдал ибаю за более высокий рейтинг.

В рекламе eBay global shipping program один из пунктов — что продавец защищен от негативных и нейтральных отзывов.
